The pedestrian street has many cozy restaurants and specialty shops - see the many old and crooked houses, explore the narrow cobblestone streets  or enjoy the view from the Cathedral tower.

Wadden Sea National Park
See millions of migratory birds and the "Black Sun" phenomenon, when hundreds of thousands of starlings "dance" in the evening sky. Take a tractor bus to Mandø Island or hire bicycles for a refreshing ride along the dyke.

The area
If you long for a bit more of a big city, Esbjerg is only half an hour's drive from Ribe. Here there is ample opportunity for shopping in Jutland's longest pedestrian street or shopping center "Broen". Or visit the Swimming Stadium Denmark with tropical water park.
